McCord became famous in 2007 as the scheming Eden Lord on the FX TV series Nip/Tuck, and later as the pampered Loren Wakefield in the MyNetworkTV Telenovela American Heiress. In 2012, she received an award for the best actress in her role as a disturbed and deluded teenager in the film Excision. McCord received the Audience Award for her recent film 68 Kill at SXSW. The audience praised her performance as fierce, powerful and strong. McCord is the main character in POPTV's Let's Get Physical along with Jane Seymour of Breaking Bad fame as well as Matt Jones.
