Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born 19th December, 1986. She is Canadian and has been working in the film industry on a range of projects. Her most prominent role was as Alexis Rose from the CBC comedy Schitt's Mill. It was a series which started in 2014 before ending in 2020. Her character was praised by critics and received the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born Ottawa Ontario Canada. Both of her parents were teachers. Elmwood School was her first choice in Ottawa which was where she performed in various stage productions. She then enrolled at Concordia University, where her diploma was in theatre performance. After that, she took classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory in which she studied how to act. She moved into Los Angeles in her early twenties and pursued acting. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television Lethal, a crime-thriller film Obsession. After that, she continued to perform as a small, and even extra roles in various films. Certain of them have been viewed as popular such as Story of Jen which was released in 2008 Lick was released in the year 2010 and another hit A Windigo Tale which was launched that same year.
