LeBron Raymone James Sr. was born on December 30th in 1984. He is an American professional basketball player. The nickname is King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful athletes of all time. He is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James holds the distinction of winning four NBA championships. There are four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic golds. James is the player with the most points in the playoffs with the second-highest number of points in his career and is the seventh player with the most ever assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James has played in ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between the years of 2011 and 2018. James was selected to be a member of the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player ever to score 10,000 or higher career points. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a potential NBA star. As a prep-to-pro player, he was selected to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. As the NBA rookie player in 2004 he established himself quickly as one the top players in the league. winning the NBA MVP award for the years 2009 and 2010. James went free agency following his failure to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent actions in sports history.
