LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American professional basketball player that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. James is known for his role as King James and is considered to be one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has won four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team as well as the two Olympic medals. James is the player with the most points in the playoffs and has the second highest number of career points and is seventh in ever assists. As a prep-to-pro player, he was chosen to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year he soon established himself as one of the league's premier players, winning his NBA MVP title in 2009 and 2010.
