Born on the 18th of October 1984, American Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won 4 World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. She has the second-highest super score of any skier either female or male. She's one of the top skiers in history and is the most loved skier in America. United States. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who is a member of the US Ski Team. There are 4 overall World Cup victories. She is an athlete that has earned a name for herself within American culture. She is among only six female athletes who have triumphed in all five skiing alpine World Cup events. They have won the 82 World Cup titles in all. A world-class skier and one of America's most experienced ski racers, she has made the decision to quit after the World Championships which are taking place in Sweden. Four-time World Cup winner decided to retire after battling a variety of illnesses. Social media was used to declare her retirement. My last race of my career will be held on the island of Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships and SG World Championships.
