Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine ski champion who took home gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics 2010. She is second to the top of the world in super scores for male and female skiers. She is among the top and most adored skiers in the history of skiing. Caroline Vonn, also known by the name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who is a member of the US Ski Team. She is the four-time winner of the World Cup. She is a renowned and long-running track record with American sports. Only six women have won the five World Cup alpine ski events. In total, she's won more than the 82 World Cup titles. A world-class skier and one of America's most experienced ski racers, she has made the decision to quit after the World Championships which will be held in Sweden. After battling a number of illness and injuries, the multiple World Cup champion has decided to retire. Her announcement was made through social media. This week, I'll take part in the final race in my professional career at the Downhill World Championships as also at the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
