Michael Torres also called Myke towers is a Puerto Rican songwriter and rapper who was born in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico on 15 January 1994. He changed his name in the year 2017 from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. This was in order to give tribute to the Young Kingz music group of which he's a member. The letter i on their name has been substituted with the letters y. Myke Towers has been a fixture in the rap underground scene in Puerto Rico since his adolescence publishing his first compositions and freestyles via the SoundCloud account. His 2014 songs Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques made him a household name. In 2014, he gained recognition for the La Nueva Droga freestyle and the interpretation of Drake's first song, Zero to 100 percent.
